Felelősséggel tartozol!

Sok bába közt elvész a gyerek, tartja a mondás. Mert a közösségben valahogy a felelősség is könnyebben elhárul. Mert mi a könnyebb, keresni egy bűnbakot, aki elviszi a balhét, vagy közösen vállalva felelősséget, úgy munkálkodni, hogy ne is legyen balhé? Igen, a bűnbak-keresés régi eszközünk. A keresztyén közösségek sem lehetnek kivételek ebben. Mert ahelyett, hogy egész gyülekezetünk minden választó tagja részt venne aktívan a gyülekezet életében, csak néhányan vannak, akik valóban, hétről-hétre jelen vannak. Ők azok, akik erejüket és a szabadidőt nem kímélve, munkálkodnak.

Azonban a Szentírás a közösségi felelősségünkről beszél. Az esetek többségében vagy az ószövetségi kiválasztott nép, vagy az újszövetségi egyház volt, kollektív módon megnevezve a parancsokban. „Szentek legyetek, mert én szent vagyok.” (3Móz 11,44-45, 1Pét 1,13). „Viseljetek gondot tehát magatokra és az egész nyájra, amelynek őrizőivé tett titeket a Szentlélek, hogy legeltessétek az Isten egyházát, amelyet tulajdon vérével szerzett.” (ApCsel 20,28) „…ti magatok is mint élő kövek épüljetek fel lelki házzá, szent papsággá, hogy lelki áldozatokat ajánljatok fel, amelyek kedvesek Istennek Jézus Krisztus által.” (1Pt 2,5).

Persze, ha valaki bűnével vagy meggondolatlanságával egy egész közösségre szégyent hozott, akkor neki kellett bűnhődnie. De mi van akkor, ha egy gyülekezet nem alkot szoros egységet? Mi történik azzal a közösséggel, akik „kényelmes-keresztyénekké” válnak?

Így szenvedett Jézus is az egyházáért, egy személyként egy egész közösség szégyenét hordozva. Mi vajon megtesszük-e egymásért ezt? Hajlandóak vagyunk hátra hagyni a büszkeséget és a kényelmet, hogy szolgáljunk? Két kulcsa van a közösségi felelősségvállalásnak.

1. A bűnt mindig az ember egymaga követi el, még ha a közösség nem is akadályozza.

2. A bűn, akár szándékos, akár nem, mindig egy közösséget súlyt.

Az említett bűn, amiről itt szó van, a felelőtlenség. Minden olyan tett, amiért nem vállalták a felelősséget. Hanyagság. Egy elfelejtett egyházfenntartói járulék befizetése. Kényelem, amiért csak alkalmi vendégei, és nem törzstagjai vagyunk a gyülekezetnek. Makacsság és büszkeség, hogy megbántottak, ezért cserben hagyjuk a közösségünket.

Mert az Úr parancsot adott a számunkra, hogy épüljünk fel egyesével, ki-ki a maga tehetségéhez és erejéhez mérten, lelki házzá. Hogy állunk ezzel? Vajon, ha az Úr számon kéri rajtunk az életünk eredményeit, mit tudunk majd felmutatni? Önvizsgálatra és szolgálatra hív az Úr igéje:

„szeretetben szolgáljatok egymásnak.” (Gal 5,13)
